Humans, as in this unlucky soul, are their favorite targets. The victim is usually rendered unrecognizeable, but retains control of his/her body and mind.

Pfess is a 3rd-Generation Cadaver Golem. Thanks to an interrupted creation, he almost became a monstrous, mindless Abomination. His original sire created his head, neck, and left arm...and then was destroyed. A second creator finished Pfess in a mechanical, anthro-style body with ceramic digitigrade lower legs.

Pfess has a hideous visage as far as most humanoids are concerned, but other Golems are unconcerned with such petty observations. This cadaver/mech Golem fancies himself the penultimate artist; he has the talent, arrogance, history, and intelligence to back it up.

A spread from my sketchbook. Pfess, the cobbled-together artist/medic Golem. His head, neck, and left arm/hand are made from gristle and instestine. His body and right hand/arm are made from scrap mechanics--mostly titanium and fine servos (bit of a Doc Ock vibe), with some steel here and there. His feet are a heavy-duty ceramic...and his mane-tail and tongue are composed solely of large nerves.
