- A drawing of a red dragon out on a thursday full moon night. How do I know it was thursday? ... I looked at my calendar when I was drawing him on a whim ... I wanted to see if I could do dragons ... I guess I can in a way. Done with pen and pencil and scanned. I used PaintPro Shop for the details, Corel PhotoPaint for the major textures.
- Gamut is a fox-cat-unicorn, yes, I'm serious. So you can just imagine his personality: clever, mischevious and magical. Just a cute bundle of surprises. Copyright@Gabriela Leyva
- This is my first ever try at drawing Gamut The Keeper of Destinies ("gamut" is another word for spectrum ... multiple points of view). And he is the host of my upcoming stories section on my webpage. He started as a scanned drawing but the transfer was soo bad that time that I had to almost redo him completly with the mouse. He turned out fine ... but I'm working on a much better fullbodied version.
- Well I'm back and you will be seeing a lot more of me now. So be afraid, you haven't rid of me yet! You can call this pic a self portrait, a very ego driven one true, but a self pic non the less. Like with all of my recent work, this started as a pencil sketch, then became an ink drawing ... then a modem and corel got hold of it :) Ladies and gentlemen meet Kam!
- This is the first of a series of drawings depicting several of my stories. This is the opening scene from "Lore" The coyote girl's name is Twilight and the winged Lion's is Zone. The dialogue here would be: Are my father's tales true? Do you think humanity really does exist?
- Okay, Veronica is a character from the K.A.M.A.U. series of stories I wrote a while ago. She is a white mage from a long line of white mages and great talent for her art. The only problem ... she is sick and tired of that ... :) Anyhoo, she was a pencil sketch that I cleaned up and scanned, then painted with Corel PhotoPaint.
