So anyways, Hallmark calls me and asks if I could do a picture for them and... no, wait. That was just a pipedream. Sorry! :) But this style would be suitable for the front of a card I think. :) Trying a simpler style here and I volunteered a couple furs to pose for me.
Whoa, looks like that sucker is full of helium! And I bet the balloon is too. I guess Skyler rabbit got bored of the traditional "riding off into the sunset" bit so here he attempts it in his own unique style.
Developing a new character. This is Katy, a semi-anthro kitten or kitty girl. Here she's discovered that magical object that inexplicably attracts cats everywhere - a ball of yarn.
By request, (Well, kinda. I asked her if she wanted to be drawn) it's Kompy! She's eyeing some big prehistoric butterfly. To play with or snack on? You decide...
Just something... different. Acrylic and crayon on cut cardstock, inspired by the work of eric-carle.com - Just remember: Keep looking up because someone is always looking down on you.
The warm weather response to Jiffy's picture (/ziotom/laurie6.gif) also done in Lucy Cousins' Maisy style. It's Toledo, Laurie and Mason romping about on a nice day.
Since people have been getting us mixed up, I thought I'd put a picture of Mason the cat here so others can see we're not one and the same. Hopefully I'll stop getting his email and ICQ messages now. :) Note: Me, mouse. Him, cat.
My little attempt to draw some furries in another comic artist's style. For this one, Bill Watterson is the vict- er, honoraree. :) Good thing Calvin and Hobbes came around. Mason and Sammie would have only amused the cynical readers.
Here's a quick (5hr) sketch that got out of hand. Yeah, that's basically my room and my furniture really is that ugly and no, my cat doesn't have a tail. Anyway, this is me drawing me drawing me drawing me. But you can't see that cause it's on the monitor. Which is why I'm telling you. And no, I'm not left-pawed either, which just goes to show how much careful planning went into this one.
Another random fur named Penelope. Looks kind of school-girlish I think but the species is anyone's guess. Some type of bunny/bear mix? Would that be a... <gasp> barney?
A pony in the face of some grevious evil. Will he make it? What will happen to our hooved hero? Stay tuned next time for... oh, right. There is no next time. Make up your own story. (Picture specially formatted to 16x9 to make Toledo happy as beansalad.)
Mason the mouse sits looking out a rain-washed window, mulling over something deep. Probably what to have for supper... An experiment to see if I could do a loose, flat colored image totally in Photoshop; and as quickly as possible. Took about an hour which is probably some kind of record for me.
