- T-shirt design for FurtherConfusion. Jonas Silver vector traced the original sketch and then colored it in Illustrator. It'll probably go through some more tweaking before it's finally printed.
- Byrd. Bird. Berd. Brrd. Baaaird. Studies of the largest species of falcon, the gyrfalcon (jer-falcon). Ever had the need to occupy your brain with somethin'?
- A half-inked sketch of a lion noble with a shoulder bag o' surprises. Look s like it might be bad news for the unicorn lady perched on the water fountain. Oo, water ! The essence of life. Wait, no, that's sobe... Nevermind. Contents copyrighted to me. Hey look, it even has a background!
- When innocent maidens go bad. Ugh, she needs to wash her feet and give the unicorn a break. I have a drawing in progress where she gets hers though. Drawn with markers, with a bit o' color pencil (mostly her prissy pink dress).
- Look! The anime vixen has a biiiiiig sword! What, were you expecting something else? Haha, showed you. Possible t-shirt design for FurtherConfusion is © to me. And yeah, it says fox or something on the bottom. That's not a blatant attempt at a watermark. it's just a bunch of letters covering some of the image.
- Anime-style! Feline in a traditional kimono. Somehow kitty in a kimono sounds too cute. Draw in prismacolor markers with a bit of pencil. It's also up for bid on ebay, so stop on by! http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item%eq 1654894
- A typical 'school puts you to sleep pic'. This bored cougar kid was drawn last year in my AP Bio class. © Kitsumi
- Rough sketch of a soon to be markered and inked pic.
- Babysitter Duties! Wait.. con's tomorrow, so why the heck are all these images still in their inked stage? Apparently it has become a tradition for me to complete art show pics the night before I go, which usually results in frazzled nerves and a few episodes where I go berzerk and try not to destroy anything within a 3 ft. radius. I've been way too busy with school and other misc. tasks. In addition, I got a terrible scare the other day. Thought my art got stolen. x.x I cried when I got 'em back. Buh. Ok, I'm done babbling.
- here's a print for FC.. yah I'm alive, but only barely so.. watercolory pencilish!
- Yay, I finished it. :) Thanks a bunch to those who gave me chick references and suggestions for the belly 'scales'. For those who were wondering, I do what the arboretum calls 'interpretive' work. The plaques they set out in the garden with my illustrations on 'em are to help educate the young and ignorant. ;>
- Cat bird-sits for Girl-of-his-dreams. Bird escapes. Cat sees Evil Cat about to devour Bird. Cat redefines breaking the sound barrier while Bird looks comotose.
- Cat practices punting technique. Evil Cat is hurled into the infinite beyond.
- Cat realizes Evil Cat belonged to Girl-of-his-dreams. Cat's train of thought derails and bursts into a ball of flames.
- The lemmings are coming, the lemmings are coming! Well, not really.. Pencil pic for Sanguine Ltd., which produces the Ironclaw rpg books. It shows the horse race, the Avordupois, with their lizard/dino-like mounts charging across the dusty battlefields. This drawing will most likely be up for auction at FurtherConfusion. D'you think I should ink it?
- 'A World With One Last Cup of Coffee' and a coffeefox who won't give it up. <g> This was a sketch I did in Kehza's sketchbook at CF9. Kitsumi is © by me, and Kehza, is © his player.
- Don't you hate it when that happens? Charcoal's one of the more messier mediums you can use when doing sketches. Drawn with prismacolor markers and brush pen inked.
- Housing for the new school year is tough to find, esp. when you're bringing a runt lovebird with you. :P You'd think people in Santa Cruz would *like* having animals around. Anyone want to help out here?
- Here's the finished pic of sweater.jpg, which I posted awhile ago. The original was sold at FC, but prints will be available at the upcoming ConFurence. Drawn in Prismacolor markers, with a little bit of color pencil overlay.
- Doodled at FC 2001 at 3am with Hedgy and Phil.. :D I like cro-quill.. And yes, sorry about email.. my inbox is inundated.. >_< I'll start replying in a week or too, please sit tight as the most psychotic remaining two weeks of Winter quarter drives me nutsoid..
- My first try at really focusing on blending (markers, then color pencils). I'm pretty happy with how it came out. Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm really sick of the cold and wet. Lucky bunny. :) She's taking a walk amongst the thawing snow and crocuses, probably to a farmer's market. And no, she's not going to eat that rose.
- Part I of my 4th comic for a school paper.. it was a two pager this time. =p Too many hours spent in the computer labs...
- And here's Part II.. As for the second half of this one, I've been having some troubles with getting into the art major. I was just going to leave it out (eh, I worry the art faculty will get offended.. then there goes my appeal) but layout was already finalized. Bah. Oh btw, that's a sketch by Da Vinci.. I don't quite remember the name.
- Getting out of the art rut.. Dingbat © to Erin. ;)
- Haven't uploaded in awhile.. never been this busy in school before.. :P anywho, doodled this in my sci. illustration class. We're working on scratchboard assignments but I wanted to practice inking techniques a little bit. Croquill is your friend. It is cheap. Tech pens are not your friend, they're a pain in the butt. =D ink on bristol~
- Dragons are one of my favorites to draw- same with horses and mythical creatures. Weird how I don't post too many if at all. Anyway, just a pencil sketch.
- Call the presses, he doesn't like pumpkin pie!
- School's finally over... eesh. I kinda wish I was still there, I've only been home for a day and my family is already driving my blood pressure up to senior citizen levels. Anyway, here's my stab at the school's annual mug design competition. The discolory yellow is supposed to be the neon shade of a highlighter- it didn't win. ;P Ah well.
- It's a contest. Who can think of a DBA? 'Winner' gets a free colored commish. Head to http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Gallery/3400/ for details. In the meantime, this is a sketch of a future web graphic for my re-formatted page.
- I drew this awhile back in high school. I think I was feeling more cynical than usual, and then something pisssed me off... it's raspberry jam, I swear. :D (eBay # 400772526)
