Another year has come full circle. Gene and CatsWhisker, having been provided with PROPER diving equipment this time, are surrounded by the underwater equivalent of those waiters who come up and sing to you at themed restaurants. Happy Birthday, Gene! (One hour early on the west coast... on time everywhere else. Oh, and reuploaded to fix mistakes.)
This year I won't be able to make it to Midwest Furfest, alas, because I need to save money. However, I did like the art I made for MFF 2003 last year, so here it all is. The theme was the 1920's and the Furfest mascot is a raccoon, so all the pictures have that leitmotif. In this one: a raccoon thinks it's swell in this modern hotel.
I'm early again, because I couldn't wait, but it IS the 10th on the East Coast, so there you have it. ;) Happy birthday again, Cat O' Considerably More Than Nine Tales! :D
I can't be at their farewell-to-the-Bay-Area party, but I can be there in spirit. Hope everything goes well for you guys in your new home. :) Fuzzybear and Dingus are the intelekchul propadee of J. Butler and D. Pratt, respectively.
So... D.C. Simpson comes down to the Bay Area for FurCon, we get a chance to draw strips together, and the Con Crud takes over my brain and gets the gears all sticky. Life bites sometimes.
Yerf's back and just in time, too, for the annual Happy Birthday to the froodiest feline in Furriston! Even the '70's keyboards are getting in on the act... and I don't know for certain, but this one may have been the piano George Duke played when he was doing the Bebop Tango. Or... possibly not. Anyway, the sentiment is the same: joyeux anniversaire! (Uploaded a little early.) <:)
An old picture of mine that I discovered on my hard drive. It was intended for use in some article or other about webcomics. I have no idea if it ever WAS used, but it's too good not to share (in my opinion) so here it is.
Another year, another birthday for this cool cat. Here he is heading home from Grandville Days with his lovely feline companion. Have a good one, Geners! (I'm about thirty minutes early... just wanted to get a jump in!) ;)
David Simpson and I have been spontaneously drawing each other's characters. Here is Isolde, the only nonconformist female dragon teenager you'll ever find in comic strips. :)
