Inspired by Scott Ruggels' iPod spoof. Vergeh may be at the opposite end of the timeline from Asheru, but she's still very much the hairy barbarian. Originally, I was going to colour this piece, but it seemed better without it. Photoshop over pencil sketch.
A velociraptor. Playing around with my colored pencils to see if I could draw one. Some of it is wonky, but I think I like it over all. Couldn't think of a better color then brown...too Jurassic Parkish? Arugh, I try again!
The City, REAL iPod ads, Chinatown, bubble tea, GLASS ELEVATORS, a Toys-R-Us containing a ferris wheel, and They Might Be Giants. Yeah, yesterday was cool. Stupidly hot in the Barnes & Nobel though. From left to right: John Flansburgh, myself, and John Linnell.
Less realistic, just fun. Three wolves out for a tussle while a gray squirrel looks on from the safety of his perch. This one's available at Lucas Gallery's new holiday location in Puyallup, WA.
"Gabrielle the Enchanter." I was very happy with the unicorn Gab drew for me, so I asked her what profession she'd be in a D&D-esque fantasy game; she said a wizard, so here's Gab's alter-ego as a spellcaster. Colored pencils on cardstock. (10 Dec 2003)
