i did this when i was playing around with style; i decided to draw spades with a really big head. this image was originally going to go into a book about character design, but I guess the project never happened.

"Dance for the Music" - I've always loved to dance, and its such a large part of my soul (though I'm by no means proffessional, or even correct in my moves), that I just had to put the movements on paper. Brush and ink, background and color in Photoshop.
This is the winning character for my yahoo club's annual Ms. Alden beauty pagent. Catrina aka Vague came out on top this time. With issue 12 now out and the First Annual solicated in Previews this month) things are moving on.
"Oh now feel it comin back again, like a rollin' thunder chasing the wind. Forces pullin' from the center of the Earth again. I can feel it." Charcoal pencil, watercolor, and white acrylic. All in one sitting... dang. I think I'll make prints.
