- Europe has badgers too.
- 18 x 24 inch watercolor, ink, and gouache painting-commission that was many months in the making. Sorry for the huge file, but it looked even worse when I downscaled it further. Oh! It's also hastily tiled together! >.< Cara is on a roll of Suck today. Yesssss, my preciousss.
- Painter doodle of poor Lyosha. Her human just got her wisdom teeth pulled.
- More bloated spiny goodness...
- Grunge Dog. Inspired by Pseudo Manitou.
- Another character design, and an attempt at a NASA-tech combat spacesuit. Brushpen over pencil sketch.
- This one owes a great deal to the Avengers, and Emma Peel in particular. Brushpen over pencil sketch.
- Just a little doodle of Team-V to give y'all your fix until I'm done with the next installment of the series. I previously produced another Team-V comic that resides on my website www.johnmacfarlane.net. The section is an easter egg, so you gotta hunt for it. The new adventure should be up within a few days. Don't touch that dial!
- check my deviantart gallery for a full explination i suppose. supposed to be a bit dark, but hopefully he still stands out...
- I found a better use for Prismacolor streaking: wood panels.
- More real media! This time a kit-fox wearing an approximation of the dance gear worn by Letaiyo the fox kachina. I feel obligated to say for the record that these are tributes to the kachina dances, which I think are nifty, and should not be taken as an accurate portrayal of the kachina religion. I don't speak the language and wouldn't presume to understand the complexities--I just greatly admire the aesthetics.
