- "Baphir" Commission/critter concept...spider/goat hybrid.
- Woke up this morning with a cold and my jaw locked shut. Must be the luck of the Irish! ><
- A piece I did to put in a "young artists" art show up here, in humboldt county. I like drawing great blue herons. Please forgive the horrid lopsidedness of this photograph; it's the most detailed one that came out of the batch of photos I took of it -- it was too big for the scanner... Acrylics, woodglue, {and a piece of a page of a chinese calandar, and a scrap of newspaper with a chicken on it} on maisonite...
- 3-14-2002 On this day there are no more tears in this soul for they have fallen to the ground for the departure of my great grandma to better places. I miss her already yet the only comfort I can get is from the soft purr of my cat who is my only family within holding distance. A grey pencil shading drawing.
- Haida creation stories. This is a page from "Raven Steals The Sun", in watercolour and acrylics, with Photoshop text. I hope it isn't too difficult to read.
- A really quick tablet doodle of a cave hyena named Trine. Went nutty with the markings, but Cara liked 'em. Woot. I'm not dead. Yet.
- My artistic interpretation of a rare type of "meta-elemental" found in the world of Ironclaw ( © Sanguine Productions, Ltd.) and mentioned (but not described) in the rulebook. As it encompasses all the elements, I gave it a more "hybrid" look, incorporating some features of each of the other elementals I've drawn in this series. (17 Mar 2002)
- "Shade" - A ghostly vixen keeps vigil with a candle that never burns low, and that gives off no warmth. Colored version of a "ghost" I drew that appeared in the 2nd edition of the Ironclaw rulebook. (Ironclaw © Sanguine Productions, Ltd.) (17 Mar 2002)
- Just a wee quick exercise in using gradients for shading in non-tacky ways. The background reminds me of chewy fruit sweets. PS. Drink more Guinness :-P
