Commission for Eric Hinkle, "Ardashir". Acrylic painting on Bristol. I had *entirely* too much fun with this one... with references to historic Persian and Scythian, and nomadic cultures of the Middle East, I had opportunity to research my little brains out! Ardashir looks on in amazement as the Jackal girl dances before him, waving her tail-sock beneath his nose. Much of the fine detail was lost in scaling down the file size! :o(
