A heroic Chakat strides out of the mist, battlestaff at the ready. This picture is actually a multi-artist effort. The initial pencil sketch came from the Carspeckens who tried their hand at a Chakat. It ended up looking much like a fox, but the pose was good. So I tweaked the image until it looked right, inked and coloured it in Photoshop. They were pleased with it, and I hope you are too. Chakat © 2000 Bernard Doove.

If you are fimilar with Rick Guidice's [sp?] work, then you can probably guess where I got the idea for this. I wasn't sure what to put at the poles, so it looks kinda like what he did :P. In case you can't tell its supposed to be inside a Colony [a Bernal Sphere design, though more elongated]. Sadly the coloring's kinda flat - not my best work, but I suppose its better than some of my earlier crap [should do a spring cleaning some time], but I just had to try out the new manager.

A rough color test for one of my Further Confusion pictures (hence all the anti-aliasing) The final peice will be one of those painted animation cels. The dialogue was added after the fact, when I sent the picture to a friend as a joke. I'm not sure what they're *really* talking about, but whatever it is, Quinn doesn't look too happy about it.

I had a terrible time with this pic...it looks millions of times better in real life, because I had to make it way smaller to keep it under 500K....Anyway, I realize the lighting is a bit wrong, but other than that, I'm happy with it. (For now!) It's another vixen character, whose name I believe shall be Cecily, with a bunch of never-before-seen characters whose names I haven't made up yet!
