While pit bulls are not a particular favourite of mine, I oppose knee-jerk legislation that bans entire breeds of dogs and penalizes perfectly well-behaved animals and responsible owners just because some idiot didn't handle theirs properly. If you think this only affects pits, better look again. Your favourite breed, if it even looks 'scary', may be next...
