Just something to amuse myself more than anything, and a chance to play with the liquid watercolours I bought a while back!
A pricing error at a branch of PC World lead me to buying a bargainous Wacom graphics tablet. My girlfriend asked me to create an image for an upcoming website, so I figured that was a good opportunity to re-familiarise myself with Digital Colouring.
I started playing with Technical pens a while ago, and this was the result. Sadly, the quality of the scan lets it down somewhat, and also taught me that if I wanted to do very fine linework, I should really try and locate another stockist of smooth Bristol Board.
Hello! For reasons I'm not overly sure of, I've not posted anything on Yerf for AGES now, so I figured it was time to put it right again! This one was drawn at a UK Furmeet a while back, a mixture of Technical pen and Karisma coloured pencil
A present for a Jelly sweet-loving friend of mine. Drawn with Technical pens and Prisma Markers (which are sadly now running out). Can you spot the hidden mousie?
She's not purple. This is not a pipe. Gouache paint.
Why is she drinking coffee? I don't even LIKE coffee! (Brush & Dip-pen with India Ink, Prisma Markers, and a little bit of coloured pencil)
Something a little more toony. The less said, probably the better.
I was flicking through my sketchbook, and she called out, "Finish me off!". So I did. Stereotypical, but cute. (Brush & Ink w. Prisma Markers)
Just a simple technical pencil sketch.
A stereotype, albeit a cute one.
The lights are on, but I don't think anyone's home :)
A commission piece for Reto Roth of his characters Shamira and Jasmine. Drawn with Ink, Prisma Markers, Karisma Coloured Pencils, and a little Gouache.
A picture of the character of a good friend of mine. Another attempt with my Prisma Markers. I'm slowly getting there!
A gift picture I drew a couple of months ago, but have only just been able to post. This one is painted in Gouache - haven't used it for a while now, and I'm rather pleased with how it came out! Characters © Their respective players
This is an entry to a competition run by a UK Furry, who wanted people to draw anthro pictures based on a Cabaret show called "Saucy Jack and the Space Vixens". The show's lots of fun, but don't ask why a bunny wants to be a Space Vixen! Medium: Ink/Brush, Prismacolor, Pastel and Coloured Pencils
I got Prisma Markers when I visited America. Can you tell? :) This is supposed to be for a competition, but it's not really in fitting with what they want - I just found it fun to draw, and needed to get it out of my system! (Medium: Brush & Ink, Prisma Markers)
Commision for Ia'kat of VexenUK. Vexen © Vexen Crabtree. Medium: Brush & Ink.Not my usual style, but variety is the spice of life...
I did this pic for a little competition run by a friend of mine, based on a letter which appeared in the Kid's Supplement of a UK Newspaper... An 11 year-old girl wrote in saying she hoped that cats would someday talk. They'd wear furry pink bows in their hair, cool sunglasses with pink hearts on them, crop-tops, each chocolate cake and ice cream, and miaou all the latest tunes. Oh, and they'd also wear Lion King underwear. But I didn't fit that part in |)
This picture was done for a friend of mine. She's an Otta!
Thought I'd have a go at colouring a picture on Computer again, since I haven't submitted one like this for years now. No prizes for guessing which art package used given the filters applied |) No idea who the bunny is; she just got doodled that way
Just a picture of Zee, a friend's character. The picture is draw in Coloured Ink, and I had an experiment with dry brushing. The background comes out a lot more overpowering than before it was scanned tho. Zee © Chris Mills
This is a Commission Piece done for Reto Roth of his character Abakan. He asked for a pic with Abakan and a Vixen I'd drawn a couple of years ago (Toy), and that's what he got! Medium: Dip Pen and Coloured Pencils. Abakan © Reto Roth
No reason for this picture. Drawn with dip pen for outline, and brushed ink for the colouring. I need to improve my ink colouring.
This pic was drawn for a UK Fan who likes pictures of Vixens in Evening Dresses. Enough said, I think :) Drawn with brush and ink, with a little bit of dip-pen for the cross-hatching.
Drawn for a friend in the USA. The full title of the picture is "When Lily Met Suki". I thought it would be fun to see what would happen if they met at a party in the same outfit. Coloured pencil, brush/ink. Suki is © Me and Lily © Yvonne Bonillas
A friend wanted a pic of Suki in pajamas, so I figured it'd be fun to just have her waking up. This one was drawn in thin Gouache to see how it worked (I LOVE working with Gouache). Finished off a little of the texture in pencil. Suki © KeV Beeley
Jus' a picture for a friend's Birthday :) Had fun drawing this one. Characters in this picture are © KeV Beeley, © Mike Russell (Vicki Fox), and © Yvonne Bonillas
Cute anime cat. I might do a colour version of her some time. And time is OH so rare...
Silliness. But gave me an excuse to try out some inks I got given for Xmas - I rather like them.
