A picture of my main character, Glis Mousie. This is the first picture I've attempted to do in Pastel, so appologies for rough edges.
My other character from FurToonia - she's a mood-bunny, and although you can't see it, she *can* change her fur colour. There's some things you just can't do in a picture without making it look ridiculous :)
My favourite type of image - cute!
I'm not usually one for single character stuff like this, but it was drawn specifically for "Foxes Are Neat II". Ahwell...
_THE_ first straight-furry pic I drew! It took about 20 minutes from pencil through to ink (which is unusually fast for me), and came out just as I pictured it. Didn't even bother to rub out the pencils :)
Hey, EVERYONE has to do a parody of something to do with Tarantino some time, don't they! Originally, I wanted to do something with one of the Tiny Toon Femmes, but decided that the play on the film title was SO much easier with a Vixen instead. This first appeared in the Zine "Foxes Are Neat II"
This was a light-hearted poke at the Fifi Fanboys on alt.tv.tiny-toon.fandom who didn't like the fact that Hamton seemed to have exclusive rights to her on the cartoon. Painted in Gouache, if you're interested.
First half of a 2-part picture. Didn't come out perfect; the girl at the front is supposed to be holding a dress against herself, but I didn't notice that it looked as if it was part of the clothing rack behind her. Ink wash drawing, first shown in Fur Scene.
My view of Babs' initial reaction to having a contender to her crown of favourite femme bunny. Can't see Lola having such lasting appeal though.
The second picture for the two Raccoons with the new dress being worn.
Ma & Pa were just about to reach their 25th Wedding Anniversary, and were going to hold a celebration Ceilidh. They asked me to knock together a picture for the invites. I played on the fact that no-one truly knows what they're doing in such dances!
I wrote a story based around the Tiny Toon universe, and this involved one of Babs' little sisters, who I called Emily. One of the scenes required me to describe her clothes, and I found it easier to do once I'd drawn a sketch of her. And I *couldn't* just leave the pic as a pencil sketch...!
A picture that came from a thread on a newsgroup with people talking about what if the toons cross-dressed (since Bugs regularly did it). It got me wondering what would be the Toon's OWN reaction to having to wear each others clothes.
The kitty was originally drawn during a particularly boring lecture about a year ago, and I always wanted to do a proper picture with her in.
Drawn for a friend as part of a collection of drawings of a character called Vicki Fox. (You'll find other drawings of her in other artist's section here too :) This one was outline almost entirely with a brush, (using a ruler for the straight lines), and I was pleased the way it came out. If you want to go see Vicki's Homepages, they're at http://people.delphi.com/MSRUSSELL/
I like old 50s Sci-Fi stuff. Pretty explanatory, really! :)
Was done around the time of the Comet for inclusion in a Fanzine over here. Thank God I didn't go with my first idea of having those programmers in the Suicide pact with the Hale-Bopp comet meeting their aliens! :)
After an X month hiatus, I've got some new stuff to upload! I've been drawing still, but nothing that public :) And what better way to start than with some silly pics I drew after I'd drank about 4 litres of Coca-Cola in a 24 hour period. They mean nothing, but show what caffiene can do to an addled brain!
Mice want to look like Muscle-Bound Austrain Ham-actors, apparently...
Me and my love... (Oh, and while I think about it, caff1-kb WAS actually drawn the same night as these. It's just that my highly wired brain decided to write "Jan" and not "Feb" :)
Drawn for a friend in the US, this strip pretty much sums up what Glis stands for in life - junkfood with carbohydrates to spare! A couple of the furries in the corner are (C) Yvonne Bonillas by the way.
If you're a regular here, then you'll know about THESE two characters anyway... ;)
Silliness. But gave me an excuse to try out some inks I got given for Xmas - I rather like them.
Cute anime cat. I might do a colour version of her some time. And time is OH so rare...
This pic was drawn for a UK Fan who likes pictures of Vixens in Evening Dresses. Enough said, I think :) Drawn with brush and ink, with a little bit of dip-pen for the cross-hatching.
Drawn for a friend in the USA. The full title of the picture is "When Lily Met Suki". I thought it would be fun to see what would happen if they met at a party in the same outfit. Coloured pencil, brush/ink. Suki is © Me and Lily © Yvonne Bonillas
A friend wanted a pic of Suki in pajamas, so I figured it'd be fun to just have her waking up. This one was drawn in thin Gouache to see how it worked (I LOVE working with Gouache). Finished off a little of the texture in pencil. Suki © KeV Beeley
Jus' a picture for a friend's Birthday :) Had fun drawing this one. Characters in this picture are © KeV Beeley, © Mike Russell (Vicki Fox), and © Yvonne Bonillas
No reason for this picture. Drawn with dip pen for outline, and brushed ink for the colouring. I need to improve my ink colouring.
This is a Commission Piece done for Reto Roth of his character Abakan. He asked for a pic with Abakan and a Vixen I'd drawn a couple of years ago (Toy), and that's what he got! Medium: Dip Pen and Coloured Pencils. Abakan © Reto Roth
